GEOLUCE – La force de la terre pour bâtir

Technology

The process for treating organic waste into compost has been developed by a laboratory specializing in environmental chemistry. In partnership with press manufacturer (RinoWerke), they designed a special press, centerpiece of the production chain.

The Brikollare crushes and compacts the crushed waste, reduces humidity, transforms them into bricks and stacks them on a pallet. The pallets are then déposited in the composting room.

The press that operates in the middle of the process, between the mixture preparation phase and roting phase allows treatment in aerobic stationary and a significant reduction in the composting time from 6 months( minimum in classical process) to 4 weeks with sobo humus. The process is reinforced by the introduction of a culture-fungus developed by the laboratory. In addition to this very important benefit, the process reduces the surface treatment, eliminates odors and emissions (water decantation, fumes, etc.). The drying room is designed to store the production of 3 to 4 weeks (input and output of 100 tons / day). The atmosphere in the chamber reaches high temperatures that accelerate dehydration while channeling drain into biogas plant located above. While this solution does not replace incineration, it can reduce the value, the amount of waste burned and thus pollutant emissions and energy consumption. Increased production of natural compost healthy would also reduce the use of chemical fertilizers.
