GEOLUCE – La force de la terre pour bâtir

The Sobo-humus process can turn into compost any biodegradable waste, from gardening, kitchen and other green waste. It enables to produce a multi-usage sanitary clean compost, in a short time and without the nuisance generally associated to waste disposal.

The production process is mastered and works non-stop to prevent the rotting before the treatment, which is responsible for the nuisance of the usual waste treatment stations. It is necessary that the mixture be composed of structuring materials (wood, branches, etc.) mixed with the waste with high humidity content.

Chemical analyses of the final product show a mineral composition rich and balanced.

Depending on the end use, the composition of the initial mixtures has to be verified. For compost destined to agricultural needs, basic input materials should be composed of:

  • domestic kitchen waste (food scraps, peelings etc.)
  • vegetal garden waste (branches, leaves, wood)
  • epuration sludge can be integrated into the mixture. This is acceptable in certain countries when the crops are dedicated to bio-fuel. Sanitary regulations in some countries forbid this.

At the end of a rather short process (3 to 4 weeks) the compost bricks can be used as natural fertilizer for forests and gardens, wineries, fruit and vegetable cultures and also as cattle litter or burnable and efficient fuel.

Thanks to the mineral richness of this product, this compost is naturally very efficient and prevents from using polluting chemically enhanced fertilizers.
